Food Closet

Thursdays 10-12 am

The food closet has a long history at FPC.  Non-perishable food donations arrive year around from local community service organizations.  FPC volunteers sort and bag food and then joyously give it all away to anyone in the community who has need.  There are no qualifications, restrictions or proof of need required.

 Our community is very generous and we completely enjoy sharing the extravagant love of Christ with our neighbors!

Bread Of Life

4th Thursday monthly 6-7:30 pm

All year long!

Take a warm, dry room, a sumptuous smelling kitchen, some very cheerful volunteers and a master chef and what do you get?  A free hot meal, a relaxing environment and fellowship for all.  This is Bread of Life!

Open to church family and community, we come together to demonstrate the love of Christ for all and to share in a meal with all God's children.

Prayer Vanguard

Prayer Vanguard is a group of people willing to go out to a local business, school or church to pray on-site for the blessings and well being of that organization.  You do not have to be a "prayer expert" to join in.  Leaders meet with the owner or administrator first to hear the needs of the organization, then the prayer group walks through the buildings and grounds to pray.

Prayer Vanguard events take place throughout the year on Saturdays.  Prayer warriors meet at the church at 9:00 am to receive instructions and pray.  Then they leave for the site and are usually finished by noon.
